KPI Newspapers moving to Friday delivery

By Greg LeNeave Publisher - KPI Newspaper Group

Thank God it's Friday! That's what most people say when they are approaching the weekend. Starting with this weeks newspaper editions, the staff at Kentucky Publishing Newspaper Group will be working toward a much more informative weekend edition. Most all subscribers get their newspaper on Friday now anyway. However, in previous days, some Post Office Box subscribers could actually get their newspaper on Thursday afternoon.

Most everyone else got their newspaper delivered to their mailbox on Friday or Saturday, depending on their local postal carrier.

All newspaper rack delivery has traditionally been ran on Thursday's starting around noon and extending into Friday mornings. Moving forward, the all newspaper racks for over 14 counties in western Kentucky will be delivered Friday. Some racks will be hit as early as 6:00 A.M.

The good news is that more exciting information on weekend events will give readers a better snap-shot of what there is to do with their weekends and the week ahead.

Advertisers will also be able to reach far more people than ever before. New rack locations in future sites such as Hopkinsville and Madisonville are on the immediate horizon.

Henceforth, a mailed subscription to the newspaper is only 96ยข per week ($49.99 per year inside the 420 zip codes).

Family members that live out of state can now receive news from their hometowns in western Kentucky for only $1.50 a week via mail ($78 per year). To subscribe by phone (and pay by credit or debit card) call 270-442-7389.
