Students at Olive Branch Christian Academy (OBCA) have been busy preparing for 2023 Cumberland Valley Regional Student Convention in central Kentucky. At this convention, OBCA students competed with schools in Kentucky and Tennessee in various event categories: academics, platform, music, exhibits and athletics.

Sophomore, Jacob Taylor:
1st Place 400 M Dash; 4th Place Running Long Jump; 3rd Place Mixed Trio
8th grader, MagenSummers:
6th Place Female Vocal Solo; 3rd Place Mixed Trio
For our students to be able to participate in this competition, we ran a raffle for a vacation giveaway.
OBCA students and staff would like to thank all who helped raise money by purchasing the Panama City Beach vacation getaway tickets, and the businesses that donated prizes for students who sold the most tickets. The businesses who donated include The Giving Tree, Dick's Sporting Goods, Bomber Grill, 4th Street Coffee Company, Vertical Jump, Academy Sports, and Munal's Donuts!
Congratulations to Tim and Neva Holman of Metropolis, Illinois who won a 7 day stay at Panama City Beach! We appreciate Cerrie Debos for allowing us to use her condo for this fundraiser.
