Paducah Woman Arrested, Accused of Causing Disturbance at Mayfield Hospital Twice

MAYFIELD, Ky. (WSIL) -- A Paducah woman was arrested late Saturday night after being accused of causing multiple disturbances inside the emergency room at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

According to the Mayfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the hospital at approximately 11:45 p.m. on June 13 in response to a report of a person causing a disturbance in the emergency room.

Upon arrival, officers said they spoke with hospital staff and identified the individual as 54-year-old Michelle Pollock of Paducah. Police said Pollock had calmed down while officers were on scene, and hospital staff medically discharged her.

Before leaving, police said Pollock was advised not to return to the hospital unless she had a legitimate medical reason to do so, at the request of emergency room staff.

However, police said shortly after officers left, Pollock returned to the emergency room and was accused of yelling at staff members and causing another disturbance.

Officers responded and arrested Pollock.

She was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Second Degree, and Criminal Trespassing, Third Degree.

Pollock was taken into custody and lodged on the charges. The case remains under investigation.
