Fiscal Court announces tire amnesty dates at regular meeting

The Carlisle County Fiscal Court had their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Those in attendance were Carlisle County Judge/Executive Greg Terry, County Attorney Michael Hogancamp, Financial Officer Carissa Viniard, County Treasurer Kalia Bruer, Nickie Jones, Eric Perry, County Jailer Ronald Owens, 911/Solid Waste Director Josh Glover, Constable Kelly Laird, Ambulance Director Wayne Floyd, Bardwell Police Chief Brandon Marbry, court members Sonny Pearson, Lisa Adams and Lloyd Presson, Joanne Woods, Billy Woods, and Chris Woods of Kentucky Publishing.

KSP investigate multi-vehicle collision
The Kentucky State Police recently investigated a collision that occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on October 3, 2017. The collision, which occurred on Highway 51 near the 600 block of Elm Street in Bardwell, involved five vehicles, including a state police cruiser.

WKBA to hold 124th annual meeting

The West Kentucky Baptist Association, which includes 36 Southern Baptist churches in Fulton, Hickman, and Carlisle Counties, will hold its 124thannual meeting on October 16 and 17, 2017. All sessions will be held at New Harmony Baptist Church, just off KY 58, between Clinton and Columbus.
