"Take Heart Daughter" conference to be held Sept 10

The ladies of Spring Bayou Baptist Church invite you to join them on Saturday, September 10 for their fall women's conference, "Take Heart Daughter." This year's conference will feature two local speakers - Jessica Pennebaker and Cathy Travis - and music will be led by Lauren Haneline.

Jessica Pennebaker lives in Kevil, KY with her husband, Ashley, and six children. She is an active member and leads worship at Hillcrest Baptist Church in West Paducah. Jessica also serves as the Associate Teaching Director for "Community Bible Study" in Paducah. Jessica loves Jesus, her family and looks forward to encouraging others in their walk with the Lord.

Cathy Travis has been a Bible teacher for thirty years. She has taught for Bible Study Fellowship, is a certified teacher with Kay Arthur's Precept Ministries, and was the co-host for Taste of Truth, a women's talk show with American Family Radio. Cathy has served as the Teaching Director for "Community Bible Study" in Paducah for 15 years. She attends Heartland Church in Paducah where she is also the Women of Faith Sunday School teacher. Cathy lives with her husband, Trent, in Eddyville, KY. It has been Cathy's passion for as long as she can remember to teach God's Word and minister to the hurting.

Lauren Haneline lives in Kevil, KY with her husband, Derek, and their three children. She is an active member of Spring Bayou Baptist Church where she serves as part of the praise team. Lauren leads music for the church's Disciple Now weekends and works with the children's ministry to direct VBS music and the children's Christmas musical. Lauren has a passion for teaching young people, as well as women, about the love of Jesus through music.

The women's conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 10 at Spring Bayou Baptist Church, located at 11205 Woodville Rd in Kevil, KY. The cost to attend is $20 and includes breakfast and lunch catered by Prince Pit BBQ. Attendees will also receive a "Take Heart Daughter" t-shirt. Childcare for all ages will be provided.
