PADUCAH, KY. - David Bailey has joined the board of directors for Lifeline Recovery Center, a residential treatment program for substance abuse.

Bailey is a partner at Williams, Williams & Lentz, primarily responsible for audit and consulting of corporate and not for profit entities. He previously served as vice president and chief financial officer for Trees n Trends Inc. in Paducah and as an audit senior manager with KPMG Peat Marwick in Nashville and Houston.

Bailey has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Mississippi. He is a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the American Institute and the Kentucky and Texas societies of CPAs. He has served on several volunteer boards and is a past president of the Rotary Club of Paducah and chair-elect of the Baptist Health Paducah administrative board.

"David's accounting expertise and public service experience strengthen our board," said board chair Steve Powless, "and Lifeline is grateful for his commitment to our goal that no one wanting to get sober will be turned away for a lack of resources."

Lifeline Recovery Center is a long-term residential recovery program for those dealing with life-controlling addictions, treating about 200 people each year at separate men's and women's campuses.

The Lifeline board includes other community volunteers: Dr. Jeffrey Taylor, treasurer; Sonia Osman, secretary; the Rev. Dr. Bernice Belt; Missy Eckenberg; Terry Haas; Robert L. Hill; Kenny Hunt, Bonnie Schrock, Todd Trimble and Mike Zimmerman; as well as executive director Ashley Miller.
