Female that was believed to be under the influence

On April 27th, 2023, the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office responded to the Carlisle County Middle
School regarding a female that was believed to be under the influence and attempting to pick up some
children at an after-school function.


The female had left the scene prior to Deputy Green's arrival. However, returned to the location and
Deputy Green contacted her and identified her as Jaclyn Franklin (34) of Wickliffe, KY. Upon speaking
with Ms. Franklin, Deputy Green requested that she perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. After
the administration of the tests Deputy Green informed Ms. Franklin that he believed that she was under
the influence. Ms. Franklin admitted to having snorted a Lortab prior to her arrival at the school. She
also admitted to being in possession of a Percocet which she produced from her pocket.


Ms. Franklin was transported to the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office where a blood sample was
requested. Ms. Franklin refused to consent to a blood sample, and a search warrant for the blood was
obtained and collected. Ms. Franklin was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence,
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, and Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree. Ms. Franklin
was lodged at the McCracken County Regional Jail.


All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
