Mayfield, Ky. (Aug. 8, 2023) - On Sunday, Aug. 13, Jackson Purchase Medical Center (JPMC) will celebrate 30 years
of making communities healthier ® at 1099 Medical Center Circle in Mayfield. The hospital, owned and operated by
Lifepoint Health since the healthcare company's founding in 1999, will recognize 33 staff members and physicians
who have been with the hospital for all 30 years.

Thirty-one staff members and two independent physicians have been with the hospital since the current building was
constructed in 1993. In fact, almost all of them have been with the hospital prior to moving to the new building. They
joined the team when the facility was known as Community Hospital and was located in downtown Mayfield. These
employees, nine of which now serve as directors of their respective departments, have served in many areas of the
hospital over the years, including all nursing areas, dietary, respiratory, endoscopy, case management, radiology and
more. When asked what has made them stay at the hospital for 30+ years and why they love JPMC, these employees
remarked on the family-like atmosphere, their coworkers and the importance of serving their community.

"The sheer number of employees who have remained with the hospital for the last 30 years speaks significantly to the
culture at JPMC," said Dave Anderson, JPMC CEO. "They have served Mayfield and the Graves County community
diligently, and we applaud them for their dedication and loyalty to Jackson Purchase Medical Center. JPMC serving
the community for 30 years is a triumph, but retaining these individuals is the real achievement."

JPMC is a 107-bed facility employing more than 600 employees and more than 30 providers, offering primary care
and many specialized services. Just this year, JPMC added interventional pain management to its offerings and
brought back nurse midwifery to the community. Since 1993, JPMC has made significant investments to expand its
ability to provide quality care close to home throughout the western Kentucky region, including the 2010 emergency
room expansion, the 2012 opening of the Advanced Wound Healing Center, the 2015 addition of the 12-bed Senior
Behavioral Health Unit and its recent six-bed expansion, and the 2018 operating room and outpatient surgery
expansion, among others.

In the past 30 years, JPMC has received accolades including, but not limited to:
 Hospital Accreditation by the Joint Commission
 Cycle 7 Chest Pain Accreditation by the American College of Cardiology (2022)
 Gold Seal of Approval® for Advanced Inpatient Diabetes Care by the Joint Commission (2022)
 Citation of Appreciation from the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Kentucky (2022)
 Recognition for Promoting Quality in Endoscopy by the ASGE (2021-2024)

A "Hall of Heroes" dedicated to the 33 individuals will be opened Aug. 14 and displayed in the hospital's Surgery/OB
